The Rindge Woman's Club 4th Annual Summer Craft Fair
The Rindge Woman's Club will be holding their 4th Annual Summer Craft Fair on Saturday August 9th from 9-3pm on the Rindge Common. 6th Annual Richmond Blueberry Festival
The Immaculate Heart of Mary School presents the 6th Annual Richmond Blueberry Fiddle Festival. Enjoy great music while you savor a slice of homemade blueberry pie and cool off with ice cream from a local dairy farm. There will be games, crafts, a car show, and activities for all ages. The festival will take place August 8th-9th at the Cheshire Fairgrounds. Hours are Friday 2-9pm, Saturday 9-7pm. Admission is FREE but there is a $5 parking fee. An Evening of Candlelight Croquet: A Revival of the Old Time Garden Party
On Thursday August 14th at 7pm, the Horatio Colony House Musuem on Main Street in Keene will be hosting "An Evening of Candlelight Croquet: A Revival of the Old-Time Garden Party". World Service Chicken BBQ
The 1st Congregational Church on route 32 in Swanzey will be hosting a chicken bbq on Saturday August 16th from 5-6:30pm. The menu includes a half a chicken, salads, veggies, rolls, blueberry and peach surprise and beverages. The cost is $8.50/adults and children under 12/$3.50. Take out is available and all proceeds benefit "Christmas Kids".
Family Style Bean Supper
There will be a family style bean supper at the Westport Church in West Swanzey on August 16th at 5pm. The cost is $7/adults and children 10 and under/$3.50

Bike for Bovines
Stonewall Farm, a nonprofit working organic farm and education center, will host the 2nd Annual Bike for Bovines on August 17th from 8-3pm. This 12 mile mountain bike race includes logging roads, single-track and downhill rides with over 2000 feet of climbing. Certificates and prizes will be awarded, with cash prizes for professional riders. In addition to three races, activities taking place at the Farm on race day include a childrens’ race, horse-drawn hayrides, self-guided family rides, a bouncy house, tours of the farm and other family activities. Bowling Benefit
The Dialysis Center of Keene, staff and patients are holding a an afternoon of bowling at Yankee Lanes on Park Ave in Keene on Sunday August 17th from 1-4pm with DJ Rob Allen. The cost is $16/person. Proceeds benefit the National Kidney Foundation's Walk.
Scottish Festival
The St. Andrew's Society of Vermont will be holding the 36th Annual Quechee Scottish Festival on Saturday August 23th from 8-4:30pm at the Polo Field in Quechee, rain or shine.
